NEW YORK, June 8, 2010 -- The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and the 2010 Lilith Tour -- one of the highest-grossing touring festivals in the world -- will join forces to celebrate female artists and athletes all summer long through special ticket promotions, appearances, and community activations.

Vice President Joe Biden announced changes to Title IX Tuesday afternoon in the Smith Center. The changes to the law - which promotes equality for female athletes - repealed a Bush-era policy that allowed universities to rely on student surveys to prove compliance with the law.

Van de Velde wants to play in Women's British

SOTOGRANDE, Spain -- French golfer Jean Van de Velde will attempt to enter next year's Women's British Open because he is upset women may qualify for the 2006 British Open.
"I'll even wear a kilt and shave my legs," said Van de Velde, who six years ago botched a chance for a British Open title in one of the great collapses in a major.
