
Milwaukee, WI The Dirty Girl Mud Run is unlike anything I’ve ever heard. So, I decided to volunteer to check it out and be a part of this female-only, 5K mud run designed for women of all fitness levels. The 11 military-inspired obstacles are fun and unique but with just enough hell to keep your palms a bit sweaty. And the entire event is designed to be organic and eco-friendly. In fact, many of the obstacles will be recycled back into the earth.

CANCUN, Mexico -- She may be a second-generation boxer, but if Laila Ali eventually has children, the world's most famous woman fighter will discourage them from taking up the sport.
"I'm not encouraging anybody else's kids," she said. "So why would I encourage my own? No. I'm crazy, but I hope my kids are sane."
Golf phenom Morgan Pressel, who signed with IMG earlier this month, is in talks with three golf club equipment makers and three clothing companies and will make a decision fairly soon, said her grandfather, Dr. Herb Krickstein.
“A club deal and clothing deal will probably be first [among endorsement deals],” Krickstein said. “We haven’t made a final decision, but it won’t be long.”
Nike signed 16-year-old American tennis player Alexa Glatch to an endorsement contract. The value is low six figures annually for several years, sources said.
